Today’s three A to Z tunes titles are from the letter OOO

OH BABE WHAT WOULD SAY ~ Hurricane Smith https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfEaLWAbYBE
Oh what a lost to the music was that of Norman Hurricane Smith in year of March 2008.
Many would say this world wide hit was Hurricane and his best. I tend too support that. But his first offering to the music world back in 1970 when , he worked as a record producers. It was said he helped product some of The Beatles stuff. But his first single released during 1970 was Don’t Let It Die, a very powerful well produced tune.

OH LOVE ~ Green Day https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YY_b7SUloU
Where I was looking for G’s I do kinda have a feel to what I want to fit the feature, that of course it meets all the right broadcasting standards. But the band Green Day popped up, yeah know of the band or group what ever one calls them.....however I never look on pond the kind of music appealing to a very much pop market into memories. However listening to Oh Love found it a very well produced ‘pop ' tune which it is, from just 2013.

ON THE SUNNY SIDE OF THE STREET~ Tommy Dorsey And His Orchestra https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Il25S7FtKd8
Who remembers those famous welcome words from the late Simon Dee in the very early days of Radio Caroline on 199. With the backing music over Simon’s voice, of that of the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, with a few opening words Simon said about the station, with one remark that was true on the day that we are ‘here to stay’. Which at the time most people in the press and broadcasting, (what was media in those days) wasn’t sure what kind of reaction, would come of that broadcast.....

CHECK OUT THREE MORE TUNES NEXT MONDAY FROM THE LETTER “P” FROM 10AM UK
