Today’s three A to Z tunes titles are from the letter J

JACK AND JILL ~ Raydio https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=YJ5AvekyINc
Wow what a great soul classic from the latest 1970s. In 1977 remember going to see a help some good friends of the current off shore radio station at the time. Held in Barkway in north Hearts, just 35 miles north of London. It was a cold community hall, not a lot came , say no more. But the lads from a app roadshow disco called ' The Mi Amigo Roadshow’ done a good session, and RAYDIO’S big disco, pop hit sounded grand. Featuring Ray Parker Jr, from the theme of a well know nursery’s rhythm .

JACK IN THE BOX~ Colodagh Rogers https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=APxlEF1I-30
The middle of May most years in Europe many country’s all wishing each other well enter the longest world run music song contest . The Eurovision Song Contest. In the year 1971 chose to sing for the United Kingdom was a poplar lady singer called Colodagh Rogers. From the list of tunes the British TV viewers heard from that singer they chose ' Jack In The Box’ and Colodagh Roger done the British well, it came 4th (the UK have had a few 4th).

JUDY IS A PUNK ~ The Ramones https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=K6GAGdBiJF0
The was lots of punks around in the mid 1970s, and I guess a few was nick named ‘Judy’.
Of the many punks or given a kinda name ‘new wave music’ around the mid of the 70‘s this US band ,dressed for part too, recorded a lots fast punkish tunes, but surprisingly remember hearing a guy I knew from uni music magazine, saying almost a there tracks never lasted more the two and half minutes! long enough for old mum and dad. Like it or not punk sold.

CHECK OUT THREE MORE TUNES TOMORROW FROM THE LETTER “K” FROM 10AM UK
