Rocking the Boat! The True Story of Pirate Radio in the Sixties’ is the title of an event being held 6pm-8pm on Tuesday 18th September at Westminster Reference Library, 35 St Martin's Street, London WC2H 7HP. The library has a vast arts and media collection containing the most accessible public archive of books on radio broadcasting in Britain. A panel of veteran offshore DJs, including Paul Burnett, Guy Hamilton, Mike Hayes, Mark Wesley and Greg Bance will be recalling the glory days of their lives on the ocean airwaves. The event is free. Tickets must be booked in advance on 020-7641-5250 or by email, referencelibrarywc2 at westminster dot gov dot uk
