Thanks Dave..I heard mention of this on radio Caroline yesterday...the dj was laughing about the 'childrens swing' :lol: :lol: :D :D

Perhaps they are getting it ready for when they get their am licence....it does seem to have gone abit quiet on that front :?

I believe the new mast is for two reasons:

a) cosmetic: the ship will look more like the way it started for Caroline
b) safety: The present setup with two masts is blocking a hatch and as such considered a safety hazard by the authorities

About a year ago I red this somewhere on one of the forums. Could even have been Peter Moore explaining this, or was it Alec that pointed this out to me?
