Latest on the 1512 1kw transmissions from the blog:
The medium wave transmitter is now being assembled at Kvarnberget and we expect to begin testing in the afternoon today, Friday 11. Power is 1 kW. A detailed programme schedule will be published as soon as we have maximum signal and the station will be on the air overnight until the regular programmes start tomorrow. Happy listening on 1512 kHz.

Over this week I have listened a couple of times on MW and SW. So far nothing yet. From the blog I get the impression they're not on regular programs yet, so I'll keep trying

6060 khz. SW from Radio Nord should have worked for you as it did for me in Munich quite well ... - They are supposed to be on air again this week-end.
1395 could be an option for you as well shortly before sun-down or after 23:00 h - as I also spottet some pop- and rock-music with a lot of fading on 1395 - It could have been MAR or Energy - this I couldn't find out because the reception peaks were too short and the reception below any anorak-quality - just too weak...

If Energy is so strong in Wales (coming from Eire) 1395 propably is not a good choice for MAR in Liverpool.....

But on the other hand we shouldn't forget that MAR is not broadcasting for us anoraks or DXlers but for their local people and propably Energy doesn't reach that far
- but it would be nice if they would find a free frequency in the 49m-band and with 10KWs you can even reach even Bavaria as Radio Nord proved . As Radio Bavaria (5) ceased its DRM transmissions on 6085 khz - this would be an option I think

Just had a listen to 1512 and I can hear music on it but the strength isn't pushing the signal strength meter and I can't make out what the music is.

Central Radio from Merseyside reported with a good signal in Liverpool on Garry Steven's message board.

Radio Nord Revival will be on till 2100, evening would be the best chance of UK reception I would think.

on their blog radio nord said that they are not using SW this weekend - only on 1512 khz. MW with 1 KW

seems the only option for MW dxing is 1395 - either MAR or Energy

Just tried 1395 and "To Cut A Long Story Short" by Spandau Ballet has just finished. Dunno which station it is though. Signal is hovvering around the 20-30% area.

Now it's "Smooth Operator" by Sade.

Have just found out that it's Energy 1395.
