I watched that last night and was a bit disappointed that they didn't actually show anything of the wreck apart from the sonar images.

Must say I agree with you Coastie, I was very disappointed with the very limited time that was given to it. But I suppose looking at the big picture the Mi Amigo and Radio Caroline was just a very small piece of history in their eyes, but definitely not mine. :D :D

And didn`t you find that feature on early radar fascinating?

Especially when that scottish guy climeb to the very top of the mast-and the way the radio waves tracked the incoming plane on the oscilloscope!!


Fantastic stuff for all radio fans!!

Would love a painting of the Big L mast aginst the backdrop of a totally moonlit sky!!
