Yes same with me - I still have the final recording on tape - but it must also be on that RNI LINk-site

I still feel butterflies in my stomach when I hear RNI anthem 'Man of action'
Here are some videos about RNI

Hi gang, I just split this thread as it was an interesting delve into that wonderful station RNI. (And had b-all to do with the return of 1395! )

One of the finest stations of it's era, and clearly holds a special piece of many peoples hearts.

By the way have any of you still got the RNI souvenir book? I have two, one a later update from the initial print run. Wonder if they are worth anything?

Cheers all BB
The views I post are my own and do not represent those of Friends of Big L Message Board, the station or it's affiliates

Yes I have it with a letter from Eva Pfister former secretary of RNI offices in Zürich dated Mai 5. 1972 in which she also confirmed my song request
Unfortunately I don't remember what it was. She gave the book to me for free because I wanted to write an article about RNI in our school-newspaper.
I also can't remember if I ever did
But this book is still in a very good shape and I really care for it.

I still have that book  - and during my holidays on the Italian beach this years I enjoyed many hours of original RNI-recordings (1970-74) thanks to Robin Westhof who had posted about 100 hours of RNI shows in good quality on another forum - great listen and bringing back good old radio times
